As a Quality Analyst on our home lending team, you will be working on a diverse team of professionals executing quality assurance testing against established criteria. The ability to draw inferences, identify root causes, and make recommendations for corrective action are essential. The Quality Analyst will be responsible for supporting leadership and with reporting deliverables. Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing quality control testing on Home Lending servicing and default related processes

  • Perform testing activities including, but not limited to, review of data and documentation for timeliness, accuracy and completion of processes at loan level. Review for consistency, system analysis, regulatory compliance assessment, Chase policy and investor program requirements, as applicable

  • Report discovered findings or gaps to the team leader for immediate corrective action

  • Responsible for gathering root cause and corrective actions for trends or systems failures

  • Meet with management to review findings and corrections related to testing

  • Ensure daily work is logged correctly for tracking purposes

  • Assist with identifying gaps in policy, procedures and job aids

  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values

  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • You have a minimum of (3) years of relevant mortgage experience in specifically default, origination, operations, or quality control.

  • You have a minimum of (2) years of experience in oversight roles such as auditing and/or operational quality assurance that will help have an eye for regulatory details.

  • You have a bachelor's degree in business, finance, related field, or equivalent work experience to excel in the position.

  • You have a passion for delivering, communicating with, and clearly communicating ideas and collaboration with all levels of management.

  • You have a desire to engage in challenging scenarios and by using critical thinking and analytical skills to offer solutions and new ideas
