Burgess & Niple, Inc. CAD Technician/Designer in Columbus, Ohio
Come work with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that value employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for a *CAD Technician/Designer *to join our team in Columbus.
B&N CAD Technician/Designer Responsibilities:
- Provide AutoCAD/Civil 3D design support for a wide variety of projects with ties to the environmental field
- Prepare figures, maps, cross-sections, and design drawings for a variety of projects including park facility development, stream/wetland restoration, industrial site development, Brownfield remediation, and groundwater supply
- Work directly with project engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists to learn design skills for a variety of projects as listed above

Skills and Qualifications:
- Vocational school or associate degree in related program preferred. Civil Engineering Technician preferred
- 2+ years of environmental related experience preferred
- Proficiency with Civil 3D and AutoCAD strongly preferred
- ORD and Connect experience a plus
- Ability to take verbal direction and implement into drawings and calculations to produce the final work
- Good communication skills and strong understanding of plan clarity
