Automotive Technician $20-30/hr.

Job Description

We are hiring for an Automotive Technician with a large distributor that has been in business since 1848. The role requires a mechanical experience in the automotive, diesel, or industrial maintenance industry. The shift is from 6AM to 4PM, Monday through Friday, with a pay range of $20-$30 depending on experience. Responsibilities include assembling and installing equipment such as service bodies, platforms, van packages, hoists, electrical components and circuits, shelving and drawer systems, ladder racks, and other mechanical items. You will read work instructions and installation materials to properly assemble equipment and test performance before delivering units to a final audit. You will be working on brand new vehicles such as dump trucks, domestic chassis, cargo vans, and pick-up trucks (350, 450, etc.).

Hard Skills

• Mechanical experience in automotive, diesel, or industrial maintenance

• Ability to assemble and install various automotive equipment

• Proficiency in reading work instructions and installation materials

• Testing and performance evaluation skills

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Columbus, Ohio.

Work Environment

The shift is from 6AM to 4PM, Monday through Friday.
