We are looking for a highly skilled asset management technician who can support an enterprise level environment. The environment is very fast paced and demanding.

Responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT equipment from procurement to delivery, ensuring accurate tracking, and maintaining inventory records. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to streamline processes and resolve any issues related to hardware requests and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure there is a request item in ServiceNow (SN) for every request to tie back to a purchase requisition and purchase order.

• Track and document each piece of equipment through its lifecycle from receipt to campus delivery via the Request Item (RITM).

• Validate hardware requested information from the project spreadsheet, resolve any questions or concerns, and provide a quote once resolved.

• Create purchase requisitions to generate purchase orders once quotes are agreed upon.

• Verify that preexisting inventory does not exist before placing new orders.

• Correct any issues with vendors if items are out of stock, broken on arrival (RMAs), or ordered/shipped improperly.
