We are offering an opportunity in the telecom industry for an Applications Architect role based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is integral to our Commercial Digital Integration team, focusing on the maintenance and communication of integration architecture across all customer-facing channels for Commercial Customers. The position is contract-based, providing a chance to be part of an innovative team implementing solutions for the company.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership in discovery with Product Managers and collaborate with application-specific Architects to develop integration architectures.

• Oversee the overall solution and technical design and implementation for a robust and scalable data integration and API platform.

• Develop architecture roadmaps that reflect target state solutions and various interim states as solutions are developed and prioritized utilizing an agile MVP mindset.

• Produce as-is and to-be application integration solution architecture for a variety of scenarios to meet business requirements.

• Define stories for technical debt and collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize.

• Mentor and support integration developers and assist with development as needed.

• Produce presentations and present simple solutions to complex business problems to technical and business stakeholders across the company.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to define and refine enterprise integration patterns and standards.

Requirements • Proficient in Java, Spring Framework, and REST API

• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies and Agile Scrum methodologies

• Solid understanding of Design Concepts and Patterns

• Experience with Configuration Management and Implementation

• Strong customer service and presentation skills

• Demonstrated ability in leading teams and stakeholders

• Good knowledge of digital practices and security protocols

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Proven ability to make informed decisions

• Experience in the financial services sector would be advantageous

• Proficient in API Development and Integration

• Ability to support workstations effectively

• Experience in drafting Business Requirement Documents

• Knowledge of the discovery process in a project lifecycle
