Ambulatory RN-Plastic Surgery Requisition ID 2024-53738 Category Nursing Overview This is a part-time, 0.8 FTE, 32 hours per week, non-exempt role. Clinic hours: M-F, 8a-4:30p Minimum pay rate: $32.00/hr +, based on experience Read below: Assists with managing patients and care coordination for the craniofacial population. Collaborates with specialists as needed based on individualized plan of care. Trains other nurses to counsel patients and family members regarding craniofacial diagnosis, treatment options and appropriate provider triage. Defines requirements for handling patient and family member inquiries. Collaborates with family to discuss updates in plan of care. Manages new patient intake by identifying resources best suited to treat patient's condition. Gathers all records and data needed prior to craniofacial team appointment. Review referrals and triage to determine appropriateness for clinic. Collaborates with providers to advocate for patient needs or barriers and engage social work or insurance specialist when appropriate. Participates in family events. Opportunity to attend educational conferences. Emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention as they assist patients and families to move rapidly, uneventfully, safely, and as effectively as possible through their episode of care. Delegates, oversees and provides quality, safe and developmentally appropriate patient care. Responsibilities Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach. Assesses individualized patient needs and plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
