Responsibilities Performs administrative duties for assigned faculty and associated staff members Coordination of business events: Manages calendars, schedules appointments and meeting locations. Preparation of meeting agendas and meeting minutes, when needed Manages travel arrangements including air reservations, hotels and conference registrations. Develops travel itineraries in alignment with NCH standards. Responsible for completion of reimbursement requests Grant document coordination and preparation for submission Assist with manuscript submissions Coordinates special projects within assigned Center Orders supplies and equipment; submissions of IS Tickets when equipment needs service/repair Provides excellent service to both internal and external customers by applying best practices and standard operating procedures. Anticipates problems and proposes solutions in advance Assists in creation of moderately complex correspondence, spreadsheets, and visual presentations for projects Supports, communicates, implements, and enforces the philosophy, mission, values, standards, policies and procedures of The Research Institute and Nationwide Children's Hospital Performs other related duties as assigned Qualifications Reports to: Lead Administrative Assistant Education High school diploma or equivalent with business coursework preferred. Experience 3-5 years administrative experience preferred Experience in a healthcare setting may be desired Skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills required Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Strong Organizational Skills Must complete Ambassador Program within first 12 months of employment Minimum Physical Requirements Sitting for extended periods Constantly Talking on the phone/in person Constantly Typing on a computer keyboard Constantly Standing/walking Occasionally The above list of dutie
