Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Columbus, Ohio

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Columbus, Ohio. This role primarily involves providing on-site administrative support to our team. The position is within the telecom provider industry and requires an individual with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Answering inbound and outbound calls in a professional manner

• Providing high-level customer service to clients and team members

• Performing data entry tasks and managing email correspondence efficiently

• Utilizing Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word for various administrative tasks

• Scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings for the team

• Arranging travel and booking flights for board meetings

• Preparing board documents and reports with attention to detail

• Ensuring proper grammar is used in all written communication

• Greeting and assisting visitors in a courteous and professional manner

• Maintaining a polished and professional demeanor when speaking with clients and team members Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word)

• Ability to answer inbound and outbound calls professionally and courteously

• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on satisfaction and retention

• Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records

• Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and promptly

• Experience in scheduling appointments, booking travel arrangements, and coordinating travel arrangements

• Familiarity with board reporting and ability to prepare comprehensive reports

• Strong command of grammar and ability to engage in professional written communication

• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Strong organizational, planning and multitasking skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a team and independently as needed

• Willingness to continue learning and improving administrative skills.
