HFI,LLC Accounting/ERP Manager in Columbus, Ohio

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting/ERP Manager to lead our accounting team through a phased ERP system implementation and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure potential accounting implications are considered in all functions during the implementation. This role will primarily focus on the ERP system implementation early on but will be utilized in other areas as needed. This role involves a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on management to ensure our financial and operational processes run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the functional lead for the finance department throughout the implementation process. Work with each of the finance functions to ensure their concerns and needs are being addressed, assist in the development of solutions to address accounting requirements, serve as the ERP system expert on the finance team, and provide training to each of the functional roles.

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of our ERP/Accounting system, addressing the input and reporting needs of each business unit.

  • Provide training and support to ERP end users, including tracking, analyzing, and resolving issues.

  • Serve as the primary on-site lead for the current ERP system implementation and the finance ERP system expert in the post-go-live environment.

  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for various tasks.

  • Conduct detailed data validation to ensure data is flowing into the new system accurately. Actively participate in the development of a consolidation solution during the implementation.

  • Collaborate with various departments including Supply Chain, IT, Engineering, etc. to ensure system solutions work for all functions.

  • Resolve issues and streamline processes for efficiency.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA Preferred.

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience, including:

Project management and ERP system implementation experience. Experience with IFS is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, with an understanding of multi-currency, multi-site, and multi-organizational implementations.

  • Understanding of US GAAP and internal controls.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to train others.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with global companies and maquiladora experience is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
