Accounting Internship Program
The Parker Accounting Internship Program is focused on the development of new talent by exposing interns to the dynamic and challenging field of corporate and manufacturing accounting. Interns gain a valuable understanding of real world projects, tasks, challenges, and opportunities that exist within the industry. This paid internship is used as a springboard into the Accounting Leadership Development Program, by which practical experience gained during a spring internship creates an exceptionally prepared candidate. Students normally work from January to May and are provided with specific, meaningful, and measurable goals.
Structure
· Assignment at a Parker Operating Location or Corporate Headquarters
· Report Out Meeting
· Final Review
· Ability to work in-office for minimum of 40 hours per week during Summer Semester 2024
· Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance at an accredited 4-year college or university in the United States
· Minimum 3.0 GPA
· Ability to work effectively on a variety of assignments
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
· Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member
