Job Title: Senior Aircraft Technician - Contract (NHC Avionics)

Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (with the potential to transition to a permanent role for the right fit)

Location: Columbus, MS - 100% Onsite

Shift: All shifts available

Pay Rate: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour

At PDS Tech Commercial, Inc., we're seeking a skilled Senior Aircraft Technician who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to work on cutting-edge projects. This is your chance to dive deep into the world of aircraft electrical and electronic systems and play a pivotal role in their assembly, installation, and repair!

What You'll Do:

  • You will be part of the team to perform assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems in the manufacture, maintenance or refurbishing of aircraft and function check of components.

  • Perform work on assigned aircraft or parts in the avionics function. Tasks include fabrication, repair, and installation of aircraft parts, maintenance and repair of helicopters and support of helicopter specific programs.

  • Maintain close working relationship with assigned lead person with regard to schedules, priorities, availability of parts, supplies and tools, and special instructions as required.

  • Perform work from blueprints, sketches, vendor and service manuals, and other source data to obtain dimensions, locations, alignment, tolerances and other specification requirements.

  • Use a variety of standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices and test equipment in completing work assignments.

  • Assure that completed work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.

What We’re Looking For:

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Citizenship: Due to government regulations, this role is open only to US Citizens.

Experience: At least 6 years of hands-on experience with avionics, preferably with rotorcraft.

Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and diagrams, and applying standard shop practices in aircraft repair and modification.

Language: Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Bonus Points:

Certification: A current A&P license is a fantastic plus!

Pay Details: $40.00 to $42.00 per hour
