Summary: On the eastern border of Mississippi you'll find Columbus, home to our Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and Center of Excellence for the entire North America region. It's here that we produce the UH-72A Lakota Helicopters for the U.S. Army in addition to the H-125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Create engineering change orders. Create CAD models from legacy data. Establish a catalog of existing CAD data. Assist in the accomplishment of engineering airframe designs, analysis, commercial completions, major repairs, major modifications and development programs requiring any type of mechanical or airframe analysis, detail design and testing.

: Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) or equivalent degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University or the University of Alabama (inc. UA - Huntsville), required. Responsibilities will require resourcefulness, organizational skills and the ability to coordinate activities across company functions. Minimum of 1 years' experience in 2D or 3D design of detail parts, assemblies and/or installations, preferred. Basic knowledge of 2D or 3D mechanical or structural design requirements, required. Able to communicate effectively in the English language (verbal and written). Exposure to 2D software (AutoCAD, or similar), preferred. Exposure to 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar), preferred
