[Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods; manage the installation, moving, production layouts, maintenance, and repair of all manufacturing facilities and manufacturing support equipment; lead the maintenance staff team, including hiring, training, and performance management; manage the preparation of budgets, purchase proposals, cost justifications for ongoing production and support operations; issues request for quotations to supplier for manufacturing equipment and services; communicates plans and developments to parent company's engineering and management; ensure preventative maintenance schedules are effective in minimizing downtime; manage the transfer of production machinery from parent company for transferred and/or new production; identifying reliable, cost effective localized tooling suppliers and tooling repair services; ensure adequate supply of tooling and tooling repair parts are available to minimize downtime for die repair; work with a wide range of quality control representatives to assure conformance to required specifications; personally supervise tooling trials.[Bachelor's degree in electronics/mechanical engineering, engineering management, or related field or the foreign equivalent. Two (2) years of management experience. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Fluency in Japanese required. Multiple positions.
