What you need to know about this position:
Under limited supervision, operating with medium direction, the Associate Cybersecurity Engineer plays a crucial role in Columbus Regional Hospital's security operations.
They leverage a diverse range of security tools to conduct assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and patch threats within the cyber infrastructure.
Additionally, they collect threat intelligence, analyze network traffic and event logs, and actively participate in security incident response efforts.
They collaborate with various teams, contribute to security policy development, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Operating in both physical data centers and cloud environments, they focus on maintaining a strong security posture while prioritizing the reliability and stability of clinical and business operations.
What is required for this position:
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associates degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience required.
Two (2) years industry related experience (healthcare, information systems, business systems or other applicable area) preferred.
Experience with multi-application integration and system inter-dependencies preferred.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
Industry cybersecurity and/or technology certifications preferred
