Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Manager in Columbus, Indiana. This role focuses on overseeing the Accounts Receivable department and streamlining day-to-day activities. The successful candidate will be working in an environment where they will be tasked with improving processes and policies in the credit and collection field.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable department.

• Develop and implement strategies to decrease the number of delinquent accounts.

• Keep up-to-date with legal requirements related to credit and collection.

• Establish and monitor procedures for accurate invoicing.

• Enhance communication and follow-up measures for outstanding accounts.

• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for monitoring and negotiating payments.

• Manage relationships with external Collection and Credit Agency partners.

• Oversee the policy for approving or rejecting service requests, including conducting credit references on customers.

• Collaborate with leaders from different business units to maximize returns on accounts.

• Set, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for Credit and Collection efforts.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with various Accounting Functions

• Experience in supervising Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Understanding of Auditing principles and practices

• Familiarity with Billing Functions
