The Role
The Sr Lead Business Ops Manager will help deliver Security, Technology, Engineering, Product, and Network’s (STEPN’s) operational plan by driving engagement, communication, and increased performance across teams. You will manage complex organizational and communication initiatives, identify areas of risk and opportunity, and provide clear deliverables that influence leadership and help evolve the Lumen STEPN organization. The Sr Lead Business Ops Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating strategy, planning, and successful completion of key initiatives within the STEPN organization. This role involves managing business continuity, disaster recovery programs, and other critical operational functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business operations, risk management, and IT policy development.
The Main Responsibilities
Create cohesive presentations for executive level leaders, including decks for townhalls, board of director meetings, and more.
Develop strategies and tactics that align with the strategic goals and objectives of the business.
Evaluate and analyze key STEPN data sets to shape the data into actionable information for leadership.
Build strong internal relationships across all layers of the organization that allow for a deeper understanding of needs to influence the outcome of all programs.
Create sustainable engagement processes and work effectively with key partners.
Manage and complete special projects as assigned.
Identify, analyze, develop, document, and communicate process improvements.
Consult with middle/senior level management on process management and improvements.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Create cohesive presentations for executive level leaders including decks for townhalls
Professional Consulting Level Bachelors degree Typically with 8 years of experience 6 years of experience with Masters degree
Experience in defining a business problem building a strategy and execution of programs that drive measurable business outcomes
Experience driving change management through large complex organizations
Proven experience in business operations risk management and program management
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to make data driven decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing and developing high performing teams
Knowledge of the technology and security landscape with an understanding of industry trends and best practices
Strong project management skills including the ability to manage projects and/or programs within desired cost time and quality parameters
Preferred Skills
Experience working in a fast paced dynamic environment
Familiarity with financial planning and budget management
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$103,711 - $138,281 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$108,896 - $145,195 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$114,082 - $152,109 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
