The Senior Manager National Key Accounts manages and evaluates the key account sales of the organization's products/programs in the US market. The role partners with sales leadership and works with regional sales consultants (3) ensuring proper levels of support are maintained with related customers and/or organizations.

Additionally the position represents the organization by maintaining contact with major accounts/channels and applies a broad knowledge of the organization's products, services and marketing techniques.

  • Prepare and review key account reports reflecting US activity and translate into meaningful direction for J&J Animal Health. Participate in the determination of US market potential and in the preparation of commercial deployment model and budget estimates.

  • Engage and influence major accounts as well as channels.

  • Responsible for leading and implementing various corporate business strategies and programs.

  • Interacts with multiple internal and customer departments and deals with financial, professional, supply chain and marketing processes.

  • Fosters a motivating team environment focused on success, development and accountability.

  • Is aware and manages the current Health Care Compliance expectations and direction.

  • Ability to manage complexity and translate into action.

  • Collaborate across the sales organization as well as cross functionally within Home Office.

  • Complete special projects as assigned by management

  • Adheres to environmental policies, procedures, and supports department environmental objectives. Engages in credo-based decision-making.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required

  • 10 years of progressive business experience in any of the following areas: Marketing, Sales Analytics, Category or Strategic Account Management, or a combination of Sales and Marketing is required

  • Minimum of 8 years work experience in veterinary medical device industry, required

  • Distributor management experience is required

  • A demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional business partners and with senior management to impact decision making is required

  • A track record in identifying winning insights, growth opportunities, and influencing alignment to execute against strategic growth plans is required

  • Prior experience working with R&D, Market Research, Finance and Sales is preferred

  • Prior experience working with Legal, HCC and global partners is preferred

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 - $207,000
