What You'll Do

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the strategic vision and execution of the User Interface (UI) strategy for Teradata. As the Senior Director, you will oversee the design, development, and continuous enhancement of Teradata's UIs across various platforms, ensuring they are intuitive, efficient, and drive an exceptional user experience. You will play a key role in shaping the future of Teradata's UI frameworks, focusing on driving innovation and usability to streamline the adoption of Teradata’s advanced analytics and AI platforms.

The impact of this role is significant across Teradata's product suite. You will lead the efforts to ensure that our user interfaces provide a seamless and intuitive experience for both technical and non-technical users. Your contributions will directly affect customer satisfaction, user retention, and the overall success of our product portfolio. Your strategic decisions will elevate Teradata's market positioning by simplifying user interactions with complex data and analytics platforms.

• Develop and execute a user interface strategy that enhances product usability and drives adoption.

• Collaborate closely with UX design teams to ensure customer-focused interfaces that deliver ease-of-use and customer delight.

• Successfully launch new UI features and improvements that delight users and drive engagement.

• Lead efforts to consolidate legacy interfaces into next-generation, cutting-edge designs.

• Foster a culture of user-centric design across the product teams, ensuring a consistent, intuitive experience across all platforms.

• Partner with internal teams to drive API integrations that support seamless workflows for both internal and external stakeholders.

Who You'll Work With

You will lead a talented team of UI/UX designers, front-end engineers, and product managers, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as backend developers, product teams, and user experience research. You will also partner with key stakeholders in Sales, Operations, and IT, ensuring that the UI strategy aligns with broader company goals. This position reports directly to the SVP of Product Management, ensuring alignment with overarching product and business strategies.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

• 8+ years of experience in User Interface or Product Management, with proven success in leading UI/UX initiatives.

• Demonstrated success in driving user-centric UI strategies and delivering exceptional user experiences.

• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing, cross-functional teams.

What You'll Bring

• Deep understanding of user experience principles, design thinking, and front-end development technologies.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience working in the data and analytics SaaS industry; familiarity with Teradata’s product suite is a plus.
