BAE Systems Senior Applications Developer in Columbia, South Carolina
Job Description
This position is for a Senior Application Developer. The primary scope of duties are primary system administration to support custom web applications, systems including systems design, optimization, upgrade, backup, restore, systems hardware and software upgrades, systems migrations, license tracking, troubleshooting, and steady-state operations throughout the life-cycles for all web applications, Production and Development servers, Databases and any potential new applications or technologies required per the mission requirement.
This position is on a BAE Systems contract with the Executive Office of United States Attorney's Office (EOUSA). Personnel serving on this contract provide IT maintenance, monitoring, and support as part of the Network Operations and Services (NOS). The NOS is one of six (6) staffs that make up the EOUSA Office of the Chief Information Office (OCIO) responsible for delivering technology solutions to support United States Attorney Office employees in performing their demanding operational responsibilities.
The Contractor shall design, code, test and document web and business applications using a variety of development software applications, tools and techniques. Collaborate with Operations and Web Development teams to create strategies to automate business processes. Delve into complex technical issues while respecting timelines, team commitments and customer processes. Contribute to the visual appeal of online offerings and communications. Assist with the operations and maintenance of intranet applications, as needed. Support debugging of customer intranet applications as needed. Gather and document the business requirements, propose web application solutions, develop solutions, create training plans and create documentation.
The Senior SharePoint Application Developer shall, under the guidance of the Program Manager, be responsible for performing the following duties:

Place of Performance: 1600 Hampton Street, Columbia SC
This is a hybrid position. Personnel are required to work one (1) day per week or (2) days per pay period on site. The remaining workdays are remote. This schedule could change at any time. The candidate must be able and willing to work 100% on site if needed.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Skill Sets Anticipated :
10 years experience with the following technologies/tools: software development / engineering; multiple web frameworks; and automation technologies
Experience in producing responsive, multi-platform web applications using a variety of integrated development environments, graphics software applications, techniques, and tools.
Demonstrated, senior level experience translating business processes into automated software solutions.
Knowledge of relational database design and query concepts.
Knowledge of current web-based technologies and trends such as HTML 5, JavaScript, AJAX, and CSS3.
Ability to plan, organize, and keep up with multiple projects and multiple project deadlines with minimal supervision.
Experience with 508 Compliance standards and regulations
Strong oral and written communications.
Strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of how software works in a production and test environment and how to structure and organize product deliverables.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills conducive to team building.
Ability to work as part of an integrated team, as well as independently.
Experience with ASP.NET, Visual Studio 2019, Visual Studio 2022 and C#.
Experience with PowerShell scripting and IDE.
Experience publishing and consuming web services using XML and/or JSON.
Experience using REST API.
Experience with Microsoft Graph.
Experience with Code Repos utilizing. git
Ability to adapt to changes in course while maintaining productivity.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Excellent customer service, communication, teamwork, and documentation skills are required.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $94728 - $161038
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
