Mechanic

$25 / HR | Travel job in NC

Overview:

Millwright job opportunity with potential to go direct with the company. Traveling to different job sites in the Carolina's for rigging/millwright projects with commercial and industrial job sites.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the assembly/disassembly of industrial machinery.

• Installing large scale industrial equipment.

• Rigging equipment for installation or demolition.

• Use hand/power tools to complete tasks on site.

• Read blueprints and drawings for assembly/disassembly of equipment.

Qualifications:

• Must have experience with interpreting blueprints/schematics.

• Must have a strong mechanical skillset and aptitude.

• Must have experience with various different forms of hand/power tools.

• Must be able to start work ASAP.

• Must be able to read and use measuring tools.

Work Environment/Shift:

• Must be open to working overtime, 10 hours guaranteed.

• Must be open to travel if job sites are not local (per diem is offered).

• Day shift; 10 hour shifts.

• Must be open to working Saturday & Sunday if needed.

• Construction site environment; elements will be at play.
