Job Title: Civil Engineer Designer
Job Description
Design complex campus underground utility infrastructure for Mission Critical/Data Center clients, which includes preparation of reports, specifications, plans, and permits. Prepare site development construction drawings, engineering design considerations for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure, and permit applications associated with residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects. Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to design and model underground utility infrastructure. Attend and provide technical input and guidance for client conversations and multi-discipline design meetings. Analyze data, existing site information, and entitlements to assist Mission Critical clients with site selection. Review the work of other team members for quality. Complete all duties assigned/projects and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities

Prepare reports, specifications, plans, and permits
Prepare site development construction drawings and engineering design considerations for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure
Submit permit applications associated with residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects
Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to design and model underground utility infrastructure
Attend and provide technical input and guidance for client conversations and multi-discipline design meetings
Analyze data, existing site information, and entitlements to assist Mission Critical clients with site selection
Review the work of other team members for quality
Complete all assigned duties and projects, meeting deadlines

Bachelors in Civil Engineering
EIT or ability to receive EIT within 6 months of employment
3+ years of experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D designing land development projects
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Client engagement and interaction experience
Project management
Project engineering
Construction planning
Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience, 4-5 years preferred
Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D for surface creation and underground utility modeling preferred
Interest in or experience with plan & profile design of water/sewer lines
Power/communication duct bank design experience is a plus
Ability to work as part of a fast-paced high-achieving team
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job-related manuals and documents
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Work Environment
This is an in-office position working with Mission Critical Program Leadership. Work Schedule: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM Mon.-Thurs. and 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM Fri. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
