We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our shipping and receiving department. You track ingoing and outgoing inventory, perform daily cycle counts, and report any discrepancies you are unable to reconcile. You must also keep inventory counts in our ERP system up-to-date, as this allows employees in other departments to check stock levels and work more efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Track and document changes in inventory
• Perform cycle counts, or check different sections of inventory on a rotating basis
• Reconcile discrepancies
• Use our ERP system to communicate inventory information with other business units
• Ensure proper labeling and shipping
• Ensure compliance with safety standards

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Warehouse or logistics experience preferred
• Forklift experience a plus
• Organization skills
• MS office / Excel

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 60lbs
• Able to stoop, bend, reach with both/single hands, kneel, stand on concrete for 6-8 hours, walk, see including using peripheral vision and color, sit, and have the ability to manipulate small items with fingers.

Environmental exposure

• In an environment-controlled area for 70-90% of the time with some outside movement
• Wearhouse setting

Mental Requirements

• Must be able to perform basic math and use a calculator when needed
• Able to work in a fast pace, high pressure environment with strict deadlines and quick turnaround requirements
• Must be able to use a computer and tablet
