We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Divisional/Plant Controller to join our team based in Columbia, Missouri. As a Divisional/Plant Controller, you will be instrumental in overseeing financial activities within our organization. Your duties will include managing accounting functions, supervising financial services, and providing strategic financial guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the execution of accounting functions

• Utilize accounting software systems effectively

• Handle account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation

• Supervise the accounts payable (AP) process

• Execute auditing procedures and ensure compliance with DCAA regulations

• Oversee the financial close process on a monthly basis

• Manage manufacturing cost accounting operations

• Generate KPI reports for strategic decision making

• Facilitate financial services using ADP

• Actively contribute to the financial close process each month.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Divisional/Plant Controller or similar role

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is required

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is a must

• Experience with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) procedures is necessary

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions is expected

• Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP) processes efficiently

• Expertise in Auditing and Financial Close Processes

• Experience in managing Monthly Financial Close activities

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Manufacturing Cost Accounting is essential

• Must be able to generate and analyze Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Reports.
