EquipmentShare is seeking a CDL Driver Apprentice to be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering equipment, products, and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner. As an apprentice, we will cover school costs and OJT training.

Primary Responsibilities
Operates vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations
Deftly maneuvers vehicle into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals
Assists with loading of or loads and unloads goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unloads empty skids and returns all equipment to designated area
Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete
Facilitates routine service on vehicle, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; reports maintenance malfunctions to Shipping Supervisor
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points
Ability to remain focused in a busy environment
Education and Experience:
Must hold either a commercial drivers license or chauffeur’s license depending on state, appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated
Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations
Must pass DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting in a vehicle for long periods of time
Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time
Must be able to travel frequently
This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen

As a CDL Delivery Driver, T3 will help you streamline your workflow. You’ll use T3 to quickly locate equipment on busy job sites, log miles, track machine status, initiate work orders, and submit or modify timecards—all in real time. T3 allows you to manage your deliveries with greater precision and ensures that the equipment you’re delivering is always where it needs to be, when it needs to be there.
Key Responsibilities:
Use T3 to locate equipment on job sites for pickup and delivery.
Log miles, monitor vehicle performance, and submit timecards directly through T3.
Coordinate with dispatch and customers using real-time data from T3.
Ensure timely and safe deliveries with the help of T3-driven routing and scheduling.
