CAD Technicianto join our team and contribute to the creation of innovative products. This full-time position focuses on preparing models and drawings, consulting with our engineering team on manufacturability, and supporting the production of advanced thermal management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain part files, CAD models, and detailed drawings for design projects under the guidance of engineering colleagues.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve product manufacturability and ensure designs meet production standards.
- Maintain, organize, and update CAD files and drawings as required.
- Coordinate manufacturing processes, including preparing documentation and interfacing with vendors.
- Document testing procedures and record data for custom thermal management devices and test equipment.
- Assist in inspecting incoming parts for manufacturing flaws and verifying adherence to tolerance specifications. :::
Requirements
::: {automation-id="job-requirements"} - Degree in Mechanical Drafting and Designor equivalent 2-year program, or comparable industry experience. - 1-2 years of experience in Mechanical Drafting, with a strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDandT). - Experience using SolidWorks(preferred). - Familiarity with machine shop practices and processes. - Ability to assess manufacturability, identify flaws, and evaluate tolerances in parts. - Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding work environment.
