Role Overview:

You will be a hands-on developer within the Threat Intelligence Group (TIG), responsible for the architecture, tech stack, data workflow, and other core infrastructure in our software products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development, be experienced in leading projects, and demonstrate a strong ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. We provide data and build end-user applications for various customers around the globe. You will work on critical projects and initiatives that will require you to partner closely across all TIG groups and customers. You will contribute to the definition and delivery of the team’s roadmap. Among other duties, you will minimize the technical debt and provide support for our customers and other researchers within the company.

About you:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.

  • Strong design and coding skills in both frontend and backend environments.

  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.

  • Senior level engineering skills with experience developing scalable, high performing services and applications.

  • Experience with the release process: source code control, CI/CD, package installers, build scripts, configuration management, among others.

  • Deep understanding of the design, implementation, and consumption of REST APIs.

  • Strong Linux skills and being comfortable at the command line.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Be able to lead technical discussions and reach consensus.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Capacity to simultaneously work with multiple languages and frameworks.

  • An interest in cybersecurity.

  • United States Citizen.

Aditional Skills:

  • DevOps experience.

  • Experience with NoSQL and Hadoop.

  • Familiarity with other modern languages and frameworks (JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, etc).

  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

  • Have worked on setting up entire software stacks on both VMs and bare metal.

  • Experience with AWS.
