Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a File Clerk in Columbia, Maryland. This role primarily involves handling, organizing, and converting files. The individual in this position will not be interacting significantly with clients or the wider staff team but will play a crucial role in maintaining our document systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assure the accurate conversion of paper files to electronic format

• Efficiently manage the scanning of documents

• Conduct thorough and careful purging of unnecessary files

• Perform clerical duties with diligence and precision

• Guarantee the reliability and thoroughness of file management

• Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of sensitive information Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in performing clerical duties is a requirement for this job.

• The candidate should have a deep understanding of electronic file systems.

• Experience in file conversion is a necessity for this position.

• The applicant must be able to manage and organize all kinds of files efficiently.

• Familiarity with office equipment and procedures is a must.

• Strong attention to detail is required for this role.

• The candidate should have excellent organizational skills.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.

• The candidate must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.
