Description We are seeking an Applications Architect to join our team in the Security industry, located in Columbia, Maryland. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity where the selected candidate will be responsible for system requirements analysis, software system design, development, integration, and testing. The position also requires experience in developing software applications for Unix, Linux, and Windows environments, as well as expertise in various databases and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing system requirements and defining system specifications

• Designing software systems and developing architecture for various applications

• Developing software applications for Unix, Linux, and Windows environments

• Integrating software systems and conducting system testing to ensure seamless functionality

• Managing and maintaining databases, including SQL, NoSQL, and MongoDB

• Working with various cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure

• Utilizing programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, ASP.NET, and Web forms

• Applying skills in Database, EO/IR systems, Linux Technologies, Microsoft, Node, AB Testing, ASP.NET, Configuration Management, and Database Administration

• Implementing design principles in software development projects

• Collaborating with team members to optimize software application performance. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Database and Database Administration

• Experience with EO/IR systems is essential

• Strong knowledge of Linux Technologies

• Familiarity with Microsoft tools and software

• Proficiency in Node.js is required

• Prior experience in AB Testing

• Proficiency in ASP.NET is essential

• Knowledge of Configuration Management principles and best practices

• Proven experience in Design and architecture

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment
