Summary About the Position: This is a Supervisory Future Operations for with the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Peterson Air Force Base, CO serving as the senior planner and Division Chief of the G35 Future Operations Division. The US Army Space & Missile Defense Command is participating in an alternate personnel system known as the Acquisition Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). Responsibilities Oversees the Future Operations Branch of Space and Missile Defense Command Provide administrative and policy direction concerning overall priorities and objectives for the Branch. Supervises the workforce to ensure accurate and timely delivery of staff products. Leads formal collaboration with U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) and U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC). Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes a) assisting with establishing technical and administrative policies to improve an organization's integration into military campaigns; b) implementing strategic direction for programs that involve informational and cognitive effects; and c) resolving issues affecting programs/projects such as Information Operations, Joint Targeting, and Military Deception Activities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-03/GS-13. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Attention to Detail Interpersonal Skills Knowledge Management Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this position, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
