The position will support dynamic, agile projects implementing a SecDevOps approach across all phases of the software development lifecycle, to include design, development, test, and operational support / user feedback. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently as well as within a team setting on the design, implementation, and maintenance/troubleshooting of new and existing software solutions, primarily within the satellite command and control (C2) domain space. Batchelor of Science in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, or related degree) and at least 10 years relevant work experience (willing to consider a range of work and educational levels) Java and C/C++ programming (including network, multi-threaded, client-server programming where applicable) on Linux platforms Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI C++ backend implementations, driver development Experience in addressing software race conditions Batch File, Python Scripting Solid understanding of relational database applications and creation of expressions Proven Docker/Container & Kubernetes design and implementation knowledge and experience Proven ability to design software solutions to complex engineering problems & accurately estimate the effort to get them accomplished Proven ability to lead teams in software development, and mentor/coach newer software engineers Proven ability and experience in defining and developing irequirements with customers, defining/architecting a solution to satisfy them, and developing the test methodology to verify them Ability to learn, take ownership, and deliver high-quality results in an unstructured environment Experience using Atlassian tools and working in a Agile software development environment CI/CD Pipeline Experience A self-starter and able to work in a fast paced execution environment, with small and large engineering project teams (an absolute must) Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
