Job Title: Senior Transportation Engineer

Job Description

A Colorado-based civil engineering firm specializing in program and construction management is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer. This role is a key part of their growing Transportation Design Team, focusing on delivering high-quality transportation infrastructure projects. The candidate will spend 50% of their time on project management for transportation projects across Colorado Springs. 35% of the time will be dedicated to business development, engaging with current clients, and developing relationships with new clients. The remaining 15% of the time will be spent managing people on these projects.

Hard Skills

• B.S. Civil Engineering

• P.E. (State of Colorado or the ability to obtain Colorado licensure)

• Expert knowledge and experience in Transportation Design Engineering Project Management

• Successful Business Development

• 10+ years of experience, including 6+ years in project management and business development

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado and some days remote.

Work Environment

Work will be based in Colorado Springs with a focus on managing transportation infrastructure projects and client relationships.
