Job Overview
The Physical Therapist I provide physical therapy services including evaluation, treatment and follow up and documentation using general competencies for inpatient and outpatient children referred to the physical therapy department. Provide supervision for PT aides/assistants and students with specific tasks and/or patients. Provide continuous consultation and education to families. The Physical Therapist I is an entry level position in a Career Advancement Program (CAP).

Department Name: CSH IP Physical Therapy Job Status: PRN (As needed) Shift: Variable; primarily weekend and holiday coverage. Minimum of one (1) weekend a month and two (2) holidays, rotating coverage.
Qualifications
EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field of study CERTIFICATION(S) - BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR LICENSURE - State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Physical Therapist license; Credentialing must be completed by the Medical Staff Office (MSO) within 3 months of employment Experience in acute care pediatrics is preferred.
