Job description Personal Banker Hours: Weekdays 8:00-5:00 Job duties: -Open and close a variety of consumer and business deposit accounts -Accept cash and checks for deposit; check accuracy of deposit transaction -Identify customer, validate and cash checks -Record transactions promptly, accurately and in compliance with bank procedures -Balance currency -Prepare change orders -Assist clients with wires and electronic/mobile banking products -Answer inquiries regarding checking/savings accounts and other bank products -Typing, filing, answering phones, distributing mail -Document imaging -Provide quality and personalized service -other duties and responsibilities as assigned Education and Experience: -high school diploma or equivalent -3 years cash handling experience -1+ years of operational experience in a bank -MS Word/Excel/Outlook experience preferred Key competencies: -accuracy and attention to detail -outgoing personality -proficiency in verbal and written communication -ability to prioritize and multi-task and follow-through -effective organization and time management skills -ability to professionally interact with all levels of employees and clients -ability to respect and hold confidential information -effectively work as a team member and independently as required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
