Linquest Corporation Logistics Analyst - Journeyman in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Description

TMC, a LinQuest company, is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. US citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required.

The Logistics Analyst will be a part of a Logistics specialist team supporting our customers by providing a thorough understanding of the supply chain. The Logistics Analyst will need to assist in ensuring continuous improvement in solutions and test plans. In addition, will need to assist in communicating technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Work with the team to develop and execute logistics strategies, optimize transportation routes, and coordinate logistics activities across multiple locations. Will develop logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. Ensures rational distribution and delivery according to analysis report and tracking records.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage logistics and supply chain operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective distribution of goods and services.

  • Partner with the team leads to develop and execute logistics strategies, optimize transportation routes, and coordinate logistics activities across multiple locations.

  • Monitor inventory levels, tracks shipments, and resolves logistics-related issues to meet customer requirements and delivery deadlines

  • Develop logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.

  • Create and review procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.

  • Provide rational distribution and delivery according to analysis report and tracking records.

  • Validate record computations against physical inventory and reconciles errors in computation or count.

  • Investigate audit determinations and identifies discrepancies.

  • Plan and coordinate distribution of goods to ensure that current inventory levels are within set parameters to meet manufacturing and customer demands.

  • Complete and verify documentation with security personnel to ingress/egress equipment to and from secure areas.

  • Support the customer in performing logistics support

  • Perform analyses to determine system maintainability, reliability, and supportability requirements and document results of the analyses in a report format

  • Accountability and report ability of test equipment and logistics

  • Ensure logistics requirements are supported for pre-test, test execution, and post-test assessments

  • Analyze developer plans, evaluate proposed sustainment activities, and develop recommendations for potential solutions

  • Support the customer in developing the logistics test plans, and ensure proper logistic considerations are included in the test plans and processes

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field

  • 4+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management roles

  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

  • Possess or able to obtain a United States Passport.

  • Experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases, and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).

  • Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. inventory, planning, warehouse management).

  • Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Great interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Possess a valid driver’s license.

  • Knowledgeable in DoD/DA publications and forms.

  • Experience with logistics and supply chain.

  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualize processes and outcomes.

  • US citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Hold Certified Professional Logistician (CPL)

  • DoD Supply/Logistics experience

  • NPMA Certification

  • Counterfeit Component Detection Certificate

  • Familiarity with FAR 52.245-1 and DFARS Clauses

  • Wide Area Workflow, IUID Registry, GFP Management through PIEE

  • Experience with some DoD communications

  • Knowledge of life cycle cost analysis, support equipment requirements, and logistics support analysis

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $58,000 to $83,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
