Linquest Corporation Junior Logistics Analyst in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Description

TMC, a LinQuest company, is seeking a Junior Logistics Analyst to join our team in Colorado Springs. US citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required.

The Junior Logistics Analyst will be a part of a Logistics specialist team supporting our customers by providing a thorough understanding of the supply chain. They will assist in ensuring continuous improvement in solutions and test plans. In addition, will assist in communicating technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Assist with inventory control of all the business assets owned or entrusted to the company (“all assets”) at a company-controlled locations, customer sites, and partner locations.

Responsibilities :

  • Assists with the development of logistic plans and procedures to ensure that internal and client needs are met.

  • Assist with maintaining the dispensation log and conducts material audits including with government officials such as DCMA representative.

  • Assist with the coordination of other functional/departmental managers to understand all necessary aspects of organizational assets requirements and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Assist with validating record computations against physical inventory and reconciles errors in computation or count. Investigates audit determinations and identifies discrepancies.

  • Assist with planning and coordinating distribution of goods to ensure that current inventory levels are within set parameters to meet manufacturing and customer demands.

  • Assist with completing and verifying documentation with security personnel to ingress/egress equipment to and from secure areas.

  • Support the customer in performing logistics support

  • Assist with performing analyses to determine system maintainability, reliability, and supportability requirements and document results of the analyses in a report format

  • Assist with reports of test equipment and logistics

  • Assist in ensuring logistics requirements are supported for pre-test, test execution, and post-test assessments

  • Assist in analyzing developer plans, evaluate proposed sustainment activities, and develop recommendations for potential solutions

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field

  • 0-2 years of experience with logistics and supply chain

  • Basic technical writing skills

  • Proficiency in computer databases, statistic applications and logistics programs

  • Experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases, and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)

  • Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. inventory, planning, warehouse management)

  • Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Great interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Possess a valid driver’s license

  • Able to operate and may be required to certify on warehouse equipment such as forklift

  • Knowledgeable in DoD/DA publications and forms

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Hold Certified Professional Logistician (CPL)

  • DoD Supply/Logistics experience

  • NPMA Certification

  • Counterfeit Component Detection Certificate

  • Buyer / Supplier Relations experience preferred

  • Familiarity with FAR 52.245-1 and DFARS Clauses

  • Wide Area Workflow, IUID Registry, GFP Management through PIEE

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $54,000 to $75,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
