Description

Apogee is looking to add an IT Support Technician. The IT Technician will provide onsite support to our local training environment as well as our government customer as needed and will report to the Corporate Director, Infrastructure Development. This position will be primarily for someone with large troubleshooting capabilities, a proven record of Help Desk/IT Support, and a desire to learn System and Network Administration on a smaller scale.

This is a full-time role located at Apogee ATC in Colorado Springs, CO.

What you'll be doing: Assist with the deployment and troubleshooting of equipment, software, and other systems. Perform creation and deployment of images across 200+ computer systems. Maintain documentation. Performs periodic meetings with Government customer to understand requirements for future needs. Performs periodic reviews to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Assist in training and/or coordination of training as it relates to hardware and software. Assist with the monitoring of network systems and communicate alerts or issues to third-party IT support partners. Interacts with customers, management, and staff to resolve problems, answer questions, and develop more efficient methods of processing data or integrating systems. Assist with network and application password unlocks and resets. Assist with troubleshooting printers and other hardware peripherals. Organize and maintain IT resources. Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management. Data cleanup. Assist with implementation of system roll-out and updates and instructing customers on use.

Minimum Experience: Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen Education: High School Diploma with Years of Experience: 5+ years relevant experience, OR a combination of Education/Certification instead of years' experience

Working knowledge of Windows network and operating systems Working knowledge of PC / LAN hardware troubleshooting and workstation software Ability to handle multiple requests and tasks with minimal supervision. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent work ethic and dedication. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Possess the ability to maintain the integrity of highly confidential organizational information. Ability to research and accurately document issues and fixes. Ability to see a problem through to completion. Logical thinking and analytical processing

Preferred Experience: Certifications: CompTIA Security+ Certification Years of Experience: 5+ Years of Tier 2, Tier 3 Help Desk Support Experience with VMWare products and tools

Benefits Apogee offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with an HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military, and jury duty paid leaves. Regular part-time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis. Hourly Pay Min: $28.90 Hourly Pay Max: $37.50
