Job Description

The Fraud/Dispute Specialist Jr. works directly within Visa DPS, they are responsible for ensuring cases have a chargeback right and keying disputes for chargeback, reporting all fraudulent transactions and managing case flows. The Fraud/Dispute Specialist Jr. works with members to gather additional responses and any documentation after merchants provide a denial. The Fraud/Dispute Specialist works with the Card Fraud Investigators on various issues. They are also responsible for various reports and working with robotics process automation bots that assist in tasks. Due to the nature of this position, the highest level of confidentiality must be always maintained.

Essential Functions Daily Fraud Dispute Processing: Member Service gathering all details pertaining to chargebacks. Keying chargebacks and selecting chargeback rights. Determining the correct category to determine chargeback right. Preparing and sending compelling evidence to support the cardholder's claims. Staying current and up to date with Visa Regulations including. Compliance with Regulation E. Working queues in Visa Resolve Online to ensure necessary documentation is being provided on cases, following up with merchant requests. Centrix queue processing - Using Regulation E Software to handle Card disputes/fraud queues. Maintain queues within Visa DPS. Working through administrative tasks. Monitoring for messages in Online Banking. Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Qualifications

Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position High School Diploma/G.E.D. or Equivalent. 2+ years' of combined experience with a financial institution, customer service, fraud management, auditing, performing fraud investigations, and/or related experience. Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experien

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills: Basic knowledge of depository processes and procedures. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving ability and consistent, logical, and effective decision-making based on fact. Basic product knowledge (ATM, Debit, Checking & Savings). Good interpersonal communication skills to include: professional verbal and written communications that may be used in determining if a case can be charged back or not. Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple and diverse ongoing projects. Ability to work with various personality types to differentiate between victim(s) and suspect(s). Ability to work with all levels of the organization and match communication styles to the audience being presented to. Ability to develop and cultivate as a liaison with other financial institutions and law enforcement. The pay range for this position is: $20 to $25 per Hour (S12)
