We are seeking a passionate and driven individual with solid Government security experience as a Facility Security Officer / Contractor Special Security Officer to execute all tasks needed for development and maintenance of facility security requirements.

Position requires experience across all security disciplines and government agencies with an emphasis on clearance processing and personnel security, communications security, classified information systems security and physical security. Coordinates and monitors highly sensitive aspects of the DOD, Intelligence Community, other industrial security programs and related security activities, ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.

What You’ll Get to Do :

Provide oversight of classified programs to ensure adherence to the requirements of 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM rule) and various government directives and Executive Orders which govern company and employee access to classified information. Industrial security safeguards classified information associated with contracts, programs, bids, personnel, facilities, and research and development efforts. These activities include:​​

  • Security clearance processing

  • Oversight of facilities with classified materials

  • Security training and briefings related to the protection of classified information

  • Investigations of security violations and incidents involving classified information, secured areas, and classified IT systems

  • Ensuring compliance with government security policies relative to the protection of classified information and classified IT systems

  • Protecting our employees, customer and company information, and facilities against threats from unauthorized access, including by criminals, hostile foreign intelligence services, and terrorists

This position is also responsible for protecting our employees, company, and customer performing from the following CACI locations:

  • 327/378 – Colorado Springs

You’ll Bring These Qualifications :

Clearance:

  • Requires a TS/SCI security clearance and consent to participate in government-sponsored Counterintelligence Polygraph program

Experience:

  • 7+ years of related experience. Experience with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency and Intelligence Community organizations is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree

Required Skills:

  • Working knowledge of DoD/IC Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) operational rules and clearance processing procedures, including in-depth knowledge of NISPOM

  • Must have strong customer service and service delivery orientation; well organized and confident to work independently but be a strong team player.

  • Demonstrate ability to multitask and ability to prioritize a workload with minimal supervision; be self-motivated and result oriented.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience fulfilling the FSO/CSSO mission in support of multiple clients

  • NCMS Industrial Security Professional certification

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$62,200-$130,600
