Computer World Services Corp. (CWS) is seeking a Cloud Services Lead to support the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) through its MissionNet Support Services contract. This contract involves supporting the 10th Communications Squadron's mission to provide Information Technology (IT) and Telecommunications services for USAFA's staff, faculty, and cadet personnel. The Cloud Services Engineer will help ensure the successful operation, maintenance, and management of USAFA's cloud-based services, focusing on Microsoft Azure and Office 365, to support day-to-day academic and operational needs.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Engineer, operate, maintain, and manage Exchange Online, including synchronization of Active Directory/Azure Active Directory with Air Force Directory Services. Administer Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and other collaborative services, ensuring smooth integration and functionality across the US AFA network. Perform day-to-day cloud service operations and maintenance on Microsoft Azure cloud-hosted workloads, including virtual machines, storage, and service configurations. Operate and maintain security tools including Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 backups, Azure Sentinel, and Veeam backups. Manage mobile device services through Microsoft InTune/Endpoint Manager, JAMf Mobile Device Management, and Defender for Endpoint, ensuring compliance with mobile security policies. Provide Tier 2 and above support for troubleshooting cloud and on-premises systems, collaborating with the government's Tier 1 Help Desk. Maintain identity services, including bulk provisioning of new accounts for incoming classes and transitioning accounts for graduating cadets. Ensure cloud services uptime and availability with a focus on fast response times (Mean Time to Restore) and adherence to the Restoral Priority List (RPL). Support end point management systems (currently Tanium) including software patching, vulnerability management, and compliance monitoring. Develop and maintain a Cloud Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan, coordinating initial responses and post-incident reviews to enhance system security. Oversee and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capabilities, including monitoring and responding to security incidents and updating DLP policies. Implement and maintain data governance policies for protecting sensitive information and ensuring compliance with USAFA standards. Provide ongoing training materials and user guides, maintaining a knowledge wall for operational continuity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of cloud services with broader IT infrastructure. Perform regular system health checks and audits to ensure the performance, security, and compliance of cloud-based infrastructure.
Education and Experienc e
Minimum of 5 years related experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Microsoft Office 365 administration, PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Azure architecture, implementation, and configuration. Proven experience with cloud services operations and maintenance, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions. Experience with SIEM, VMware, virtualization, backup technologies, storage, and network services operations. Strong knowledge of endpoint management tools and cybersecurity best practices. Solid experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and other cloud-based collaboration tools. Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with Tier 2/3 support for cloud and on-premises services. Security Clearance

Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $1 35,000.00
