Front Range Staffing Civil Engineer (E.I.T.) in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Front Range Staffing is seeking a Civil Engineering CAD Drafter with 1- 4 years' experience in Utilities, Wastewater and Roadways for a local family owned and operated Engineering firm.
Pay range $60,000 to $70,000 a year, pay is negotiable depending on experience. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8 to 5pm, this position is in
This position will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering projects, focusing on grading, erosion control, drainage, and utility plans.
An ideal candidate for this company would possess the following skills and experience: Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create, modify, and update detailed CAD drawings and plans for various civil engineering projects, including grading, erosion control, drainage, and utility plans. Interpret and apply engineering standards, guidelines, and specifications to drafting work. Collaborate with civil engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings. Maintain organized records of project drawings, revisions, and related documentation. Review and verify the accuracy of drawings before submission for approval. Assist in preparing project documentation and reports. Ensure compliance with company drafting standards and industry best practices. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and drafting standards. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements: 1 to 4 years' experience in creating grading, erosion control, drainage, and utility plans. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering E.I.T. Certification preferred
