Front Range Staffing Business Tax Preparation Specialist in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Front Range Staffing is seeking a Business Tax Preparation Specialist with 2+ years' experience for immediate placement in Colorado Springs.
Pay starts at $20 per hour. Hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.
An ideal candidate for this company would possess the following skills and experience: 2+ years as a Tax Preparer in a high volume Bookkeeping or Tax Preparation company. Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple clients efficiently. Prepare and file individual and business tax returns accurately and on time. Review financial records, such as income statements and documentation of expenditures, to determine forms needed to prepare tax returns. Conduct interviews with clients to gather additional information on taxable income and deductible expenses. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Research tax issues and assist with tax audits. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations. Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries and concerns. Assist with bookkeeping tasks as needed, including data entry and reconciliation. Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Background check and/or passing a drug screen to be considered may be required. Some things are acceptable, just ask.
