SUMMARY The Business Analyst will have primary responsibility aggregating and analyzing production metrics, forecasting resources, creating methodologies for accurate and simple reporting in various spreadsheets, charts, and geographic formats. The role will require a self-starter who can collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts from around the organization and company. The position will be in Colorado Springs, CO. In-Office position: Colorado Spring, CO MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES Coordinate and facilitate meetings to collect business requirements for data and reporting needs. Collect and maintain production metrics from software, systems, and personnel and prep data for analysis Perform analysis on data to understand volume, velocity, status, and financial performance of projects. Create and maintain a simple model using all available data to forecast resource needs with high level of precision Create and maintain an easy-to-read reporting method or dashboard on production metrics and resources. Analyze the business data process, production procedures, and desired outputs to identify gaps in data and determine optimal solutions. Develop and maintain a method to geospatially demonstrate status and historic product catalog. Develop a documentation process to capture all data analysis procedures. EXPERIENCE Professional experience with minimum of 2 years performing business analysis and capturing and documenting business needs for a large diverse organization. Experience in coordinating and facilitating meetings with business SMEs to capture business data requirements. Experience documenting business data requirements for different types of potential users within a geospatial organization. Experience mapping and tracing data from system to system to solve a given business or data problem. Expert knowledge of Excel and business analysis tools. Beneficial but not required, experience mapping and tracing data from system to system to solve a given business or data problem.
