Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Accountant for a dynamic and thriving organization. This role requires the timely compilation of cash deposits, facilitation of cash management, processing of bank deposits, generation of accounts receivable, and the execution of other financial responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a knack for spotting discrepancies, and the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.

Essential Functions:

• Compile incoming cash deposits for all companies in a timely manner

• Generate accounts receivable and cash application for various units

• Prepare monthly sales tax reports

• Complete journal entries for monthly financial statements, identifying discrepancies and potential audit concerns

• Streamline office procedures for maximum efficiency

• Facilitate cash management procedures

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting

• CPA designation is highly desired

• 3+ years of professional experience in accounting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Ability to meet deadlines and set goals

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal and external clients

• Auditing skills to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions
