Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Data Analyst to join one of our Higher Education institutions. This team is focused on creating an application for students to utilize and find all things about the university. The team is looking to add on a data analyst who has experience with data mapping, validating data, SQL table joins, and database field mappings. The ideal candidate will be highly efficient in SQL and comfortable using SQL to pull data. This candidate should have strong documentation skills and an understanding of data analytics. THe ability to create JSON files from CSVs is required. This candidate will be expected to work onsite 3 days/week in Petersburg, VA. The target pay rate for this position is between $35-45/hr and based on experience.

Skills and Requirements

• 4-5 years experience as a Data Analyst

• Proficiency in SQL - writing own queries to pull data

• Strong understanding of data mapping, SQL table joins, and database field mappings

• Strong documentation skills and able to do validations independently

• Experience converting CSVs to JSON Previous experience working in Higher Education null
