Newell Brands Senior HR Business Partner - Paris in Colombes, France

As the Senior HR Business Partner, you will play an important role in enabling the France & Benelux cluster organization to achieve its One Newell commercial strategy to build sustainable growth in the assigned area.

Reporting to the France and Benelux HR Director, you will work very closely with the France/Benelux leadership team, providing guidance and coaching to employees and people managers on change management, daily operations, employee development, HR priorities in alignment with the overall business strategy, and HR policies.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing guidance, support and coaching to your client group on all organization and people-related topics.

  • Providing advice, support and guidance on a daily basis to employees and people managers: talent development, performance management, staffing, local employment law, policies, absence, disciplinary matters.

  • Partnering with people managers to ensure effective management of Employee Relations cases and ensuring all local employment laws are adhered to.

  • Coaching managers in managing complex situations to raise leadership capability.

  • Supporting the development of new streamlined robust ways of working in the HR team including development of new HR Policies and procedures, HR processes and supporting documents.

  • Championing HR systems and line manager engagement to embed manager self-service, enabling a leader-led approach.

  • Representing the HR team in both local and global projects, ensuring proactivity and delivery against requirements.

  • Proactively delivering the HR agenda, acting as a role model for Newell’s values, and being a change agent.

Skills & Experience:

  • Significant experience in an HRBP client-facing role.

  • Experience of working within a fast-paced private sector matrix organisation, ideally FMCG and/or Supply Chain and Logistics.

  • Used to working with senior business leaders and senior functional managers.

  • Ability to build effective working relationships and influence at all levels in the organisation.

  • Commercial awareness and desire to understand the business and be a true part of it.

  • Experience of dealing with complex ER cases. Good knowledge of labour law.

  • Fluent in French and English.
