Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the logistics industry based in Collierville, Tennessee, 38017, United States. In this role, you will be tasked with handling customer credit applications and maintaining precise customer credit records. Furthermore, you will be required to monitor customer accounts and take the necessary actions. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintaining precise customer credit records

• Monitoring of customer accounts and taking necessary actions

• Utilize SQL writing skills for data analysis

• Manage large volumes of data in Excel using advanced functionality

• Build workflows and dashboards using Power BI

• Guide and train team members in new and ambiguous situations

• Display excellent active listening, root cause analysis, and interpersonal skills

• Identify and implement process improvements, efficiencies, and automation

• Utilize strong organizational and prioritization skills. Requirements • Proven experience in the logistics industry is necessary.

• Must hold a relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• A minimum of five years of experience as an Accountant, preferably at a senior level.

• Proficiency in Full Cycle Payroll is essential.

• Demonstrated experience in Ad Hoc Analysis is required.

• Strong knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and analysis.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with different departments.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and office productivity tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in work.

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks effectively.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
