Description
The Department of History in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University (https://artsci.tamu.edu/history/index.html) is recruiting for a part-time Visiting Lecturer (non-tenure track) with a start date of August 01, 2024 for a nine month term. The part-time hire would teach four courses: two in the fall and two in the spring, typically one lower division survey and one upper division class each semester. We are searching for a candidate with significant teaching experience, including experience teaching survey courses in American History.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in History or a related field in which the faculty member will teach and significant teaching experience at the college/school level.
