What we want
The Program Director directs the administration and the day-to-day operations of the Huron Research Suite software system, including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ten years of related experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and supervisory skills.
Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment.
Knowledge of project and operations management.
Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Program Management and Leadership
Plans, organizes, directs, and manages day-to-day activities and operations associated with Huron.
Develops program plans, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
Ensures program objectives are met.
Directs and supervises program staff.
Develops communication tools and conducts outreach, training, seminars, and workshops.
Assists with the development and production of materials designed for the program.
Evaluates program procedures and performance reports.
Budget and Resource Management
Develops, oversees, and approves program budgets.
Analyzes program statistics for reporting, tracking progress, and adjusting programs.
Program Strategy
Assists in developing strategic plans and goals in support of the program.
Works with Executive Director and/or staff to set strategic directions and goals for the program, reviews operations, and resolves problems.
Works to ensure consistency across Huron as a whole.
Program Monitoring and Reporting
Compiles program statistics, maintains program records and databases and oversees and monitors progress for all Huron support tickets.
Proactively troubleshoots any issues and works to resolve.
Communicates issues and status updates to all involved parties.
Other Requirements and Factors:
Preferred experience with software systems, including internal TAMUS systems.
This position is security sensitive
This position requires compliance with state and federal laws/codes and Texas A&M University System/TAMU policies, regulations, rules and procedures
