Technology Services (https://it.tamu.edu/) is on the hunt for a motivated Entry-Level IT Professional to join our team in supporting the Texas A&M Health Family Care Clinic. (https://health.tamu.edu/care/specialties/family-care/locations/family-care-bryan.html)

In this , you will perform routine end user support functions. You will provide technical support by answering questions and providing consultation to our clinicians, campus faculty, researchers, administrative staff, and students. As you grow within your role, you will have the opportunity to provide our customers with advanced troubleshooting, serving as an escalation point for complex problems, and serving as an advisor to management for systemic technical issues and continual service improvement.

Here is a glimpse of what you will do:

  • Troubleshoot endpoint computing related issues for Windows, Mac, and mobile devices.

  • Manage incidents and help requests

  • Provide detailed documentation for services provided

  • Engage with our campus members promoting IT initiatives and partnerships

  • Participate in training and professional development

Entry-Level IT Professional I (Salary - $47,000 annually)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience AND four months (1 semester) of student worker and/or customer service experience. Preferred degree in computer or information systems management and Two years of recent experience providing deskside support of both Windows and MacOS devices for a higher education institution

  • Strong customer service focus

  • Effective listening and inquiry skills to ensure understanding of customer needs and desired out-comes

  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues remotely

  • Ability to document issues and resolutions

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
