JOB SUMMARY: You will be assisting with the development and execution of assigned engineering projects and tasks using your academic knowledge, existing software, and supervision from our engineering staff. WHAT YOU LL BE DOING: Performing basic product designs and modifications Coordinating and communicating your project status with engineering staff and customers Assisting in developing the assembly and detailed drawings for assigned projects Assisting the engineering staff with scanning prints, manuals, and other documents into our electronic system Assisting the engineering staff with new and existing products and processes, development, problem-solving, testing, reporting, documenting, supervision, and follow-up Attending meetings and site visits as warranted or as directed by engineering staff Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Our ideal applicant is a current student of an industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, or mechanical design engineering program. While you do not need to have prior job experience, you must have a high GPA and training in common engineering computer programs, such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Must be enrolled in a two or four-year degree program. Experience: Prior job experience is not required.
